You won’t want to miss out on GSProud Week! Make sure to mark your calendars for the events the week of November 18th – our student board has been working tirelessly to plan and execute a week of fun, community building, empowering events! You might be asking, “What is GSProud?!?” In short it is a week of visibility and celebration for all who identify as first-generation and/or low-income (FGLI) at Georgetown. During this week of celebration, we highlight the great stories, contributions, and achievements of our FGLI student population. We encourage FGLI faculty, staff, and our beloved GSP Grads to join in on the celebration online via our social media campaign or in-person at our events!

During GSProud week we are reflecting on GSP’s past and embracing our future! This year’s theme encourages us to reflect on the community GSP has built over the past 20 years and to look forward to a future of equity, support, and growth!

GSProud: Let’s Chalk

Join us for GSProud Chalking at 8 PM on Sunday, November 17th as we transform Red Square into a canvas celebrating GSP’s successes and history! Grab your chalk and help us magnify GSP’s impact on Georgetown’s campus!

GSProud: Kickoff

Join us as we kickoff the start of GSProud week on Monday, November 18th from 12 to 3 PM on Healy Lawn! Students, faculty, and staff are invited to eat delicious food, pick up some exclusive GSProud merch, and come share why they’re GSProud! Let’s kick off GSProud in style! GSProud: Community Dinner

Join us for the GSProud Community Dinner from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the HFSC Social Room on Tuesday, November 9th. This is a wonderful opportunity to come together with your fellow GSPers, enjoy some delicious food, and celebrate our collective pride and unity!

GSProud: GSPerformance and Art Gallery

Join us to celebrate 20 years of GSP and 10 years of GSProud at our GSPerformance and Art Gallery! We’ll be unveiling a portion of GSP’s new archive, taking in incredible presentations from campus partners that have uplifted GSPers through art and performance, and enjoying some delicious hors d’oeuvres. GSProud: Trivia Night

Join us for GSProud Trivia Night, a fun event that blends GSP-themed and general trivia as part of our celebration of reflection and community. Test your knowledge, win prizes, and enjoy dinner as we honor the shared experiences and stories that make up the GSP community.

GSProud: GSPhoto

Our annual GSPhoto is the ultimate GSProud tradition. GSPers will gather on the Healy Steps at 1:15PM SHARP for a photo that represents our community and place on campus! Don’t miss the iconic GSPhoto event from 1-3 PM on Healy Steps, Friday November 22nd! This will be the final chance to get your exclusive GSProud swag! We will have breakfast sandwiches from Call Your Mother!
